The Boiler Room 2.0!

Yes, THAT'S right! I have the KEY!

Well, the boiler room story started back in 2007. All by an accident.


I had been asked to be practical leader at a camp for confermed kids. I didn't think of this as somthing to be a hard task. I had done it before, and would do it again. The only problem was that I was living in Florida, and the camp was in Norway... mmmh... "No, problem, I am moving to Norway anyway, and I will land the day before the camp starts!"


It turned out good, and I actualy manage to plan the whole camp via internet, msn, and Facebook (can you believe it?) The day before, also the day of the big landing, I decited to spend the night at Miss Snax, because she is living in Oslo, and we would decent from Oslo.


I hadn't seen Miss Snax in like 2 months, so we had an great time! The next morning, I was awakend by my cell phone. Some girl was calling, and I asked for her name. She said she was stranded at the airport, and it was 6 in the morning, and she had no money, and was going to the camp. I had to go get her! I checked my camper list, but she was not there! I checked the other camp lists, and she was THERE! I was like what da???!

Turned out, there where 3 girls at the airport, and there parents had just sendt them off, and given them MY cell phone number. Bastards! There I am, jet lagged, stressed out, having heat flashes, six in the morning, and NO CAR!

So, I call my right hand assistant, and explaine to him I have to go, and he will come out to the airport later. We where to pick up 'bout 5 kids around 1. That meaning, I had to be sitting at the airport for like 5 hours or so. I get there, and it turns out I have to pay there food, drinks, AND the train tix to Oslo... Man... (Did I get the money back? Not yet....)


So, not up to a great start, we're finaly ready to head out to our camp. My headache really bad by now, and my jet lag running wild. And on top of it all: TOOTH ACHE! Yes! Week whent as it always does, and I was getting grumpy and mad. By mid week, 2 friends of mine came out, to hold an seminar on Sex... Yes, sex! LOL (Lets call the guys Mr. P and Mr A).


Mr A was holding the comferance, and Mr P. was his driver. During the seminar I hear some funny noises from the basement. I decide to go down and check, after all I am the practical leader. But, I don't know HOW to work a boiler room, and the guy who owns the place won't pick up his phone! So I inform my sister, the big cheef, and she says that Mr P. is very practical with everything, he will help. So Mr P. comes with us downstairs. As we are walking down to the basement he says "Oh! I have dreamt about this! Going to the boiler room woth two pretty sisters while Mr A is haveing an seminar on Sex upstairs!" We all burst ou laughting! Suddenly the boiler room was just THE place to hide, when we had enough of crazy campers, and what not! We spendt alot of time there after hours that week, taking crazy photos! Hahaha!

Then, in winter of 2008, when it hit 50 below, and we could not smoke inside, and it was to far to the office... What to do? Well, outside in the smoking pit, theres a nice door... Down to a BOILER ROOM! This one a classic boiler room. With open flames and all! My belowed cousin said we outh to sit there and smoke. Its very warm, and it's this old broaken freezer, we could have drinks in there on ice, and BOW BOW, A party! Hahha. So I had to tell her about the boiler room back in Norway, and she goes "If we are NOT, related, some adoption agency did a very good job!" LOL


Unfortuonatly, I don't have pix from the Canadian boiler room. And I do miss it so much now... I can see us sitting there... A CD player, with some good country, and the picknik plaided rag on the freezer... Smoke filling the room... Ah, those WHERE the days! Dang!

The Lake

Universal Studios!

On saturday Eliz and me went to Universal Studios!! It took us a while to get there... First we whent to Starbucks for coffee, then the bus, that took almost an hour! Then I got hungry, and KFC was, like, so close!

So, we ordered a big bucket meal. 10 pcs of chicken, with 2 sides, and 2 liter of soda! Crazy crazy crazy! When we fanaly got there, we went to Island of Adventure first. We only roade the Spider Man, then we went to the Studios. There we roade the Mummy, and back to the future! Then we watched the parade.

Then we went to Cheese Cake factory, and shared a niiiiiceee! piece of raspberry cheese cake! Yummy Yummy Yummuy!

Pirates and Princess Party in Magic Kingdom!

On friday, Trude and me went to the Pirates and Princess Party in magic kingdom.

First we wen to Guest realations to say Hi to Yuuri. She gaved us a map of everything, and she gaved us theese cool buttons. Trude turned out to be the Pirate, and hd a button for that. Me myself had to be the Princess and got a button for that.

Then we went and bought candy, then found a nice spot on the curb, and waited for the parade. It was a nice parade! Here is some pictures:

But by far, the best part was when we went to meet Captain Jack Sparrow! He's a crazy guy, I tell you!

My Week From Hell!

This has truly been a week from hell! But, as my mom always tought me, "Let it go, and you'll be fine"... If only!
I worked dinner monday, tuesday, and wednesday. It was ok, though I had this little murry head ache. That will pass I though, I am just tense and a little stressed. When I came home from work wednesday it was so bad, I just wish I could die!
The bad thing was that I was to work breakfast on thursday. I do like working breakfast (Not all 5 seatings), but I like getting up early. Kinda fels like I get more out of my day... So this sharp shooting pain starts on the right side of my head. Terrable terrable! I go to bed, thinking I can sleep the pain away (with the magic of Advil). I wake up at 3... Sharp, stining pain, like needles though my head...
I am so nauseas, that I could of thrown up! (All though I didn't...). I get outside, and have a sigarette... Pain bad, pain bad! My eyes hurt.. and I just wish I could die. Get me to thinking, "You have a brain tumor, and should see the doctor!" I awnser myself "NO, you don't, it's just stress headache!" But I couldn't shake the thought...

I go back to bed, try to sleep, so I can get up and go to work. A little later (to me), Eliz comes and wake me up... It's 7 am! And it's work calling. Aperently my manager was worried about me. Since I like never call inn, or don't show up without calling. I ensure the man on the phone, that I am sick sick sick! like almost can't move sick, hang up, and call inn...

The pain lasted all day, and also all friday... When I realise "You have a migraine attack, you idiot!" That's why the advil don't work! hahaha!

I do take 2 advil PM, and slept on the couch, whitch hellped alot. I sleep the whole night trough, and woke up 9am on saturday.
The pain was gone, but my head was beaten. I went to Starbucks for a coffee, just to feel some fresh air. Hellped a lot.
Later Eliz and me, when to Pointe Orlando. I bought some nice kitchen books. Coffee, drinks and so on. We had dinner at Johnny Rockets!
Nice! Today I had a nice conversation with Snax on msn, and get this! I most of slept bad last night, 'coz I have terrable back ache! So, then the phone rings, and it's my sister! Then the pain was so bad, I had to lay down, and then I dropped the receaver... My sister keeps yelling though! So, my hell week (great 21 episode BTW!) is comming to an end. I work breakfast tomorrow. And I do love the fact that I can start an sentence with "I work... (!). Thanx Snax, for helping me though today, with all your helpfull tips!

Then again, like my mom says "Let it go, and you'll be fine!" is really true. I should not trick myself into believing that I am dying...
It was "just" (as if!) a Migraine atack... (It had been years since the last one...). I will be fine! I am doing fine!

Flash Back Week!

This has been a strange week. A couple of days ago, I seached the internet for some pictures of my old Junior High Shcool. That hell whole has been closed for about 6 years. I located some photos, witch I showed my roomates. Thay imitietly thought it was a prision! Hah!

The photos was taken resently by an amateur photo dude in my hometown. (That's why I won't publish them...). It looked so abandend! Broken windows, and boarded up doors. And it somehow hot me. Even thopugh I hated that sement block for 3 whole long lasting years, there is a lot of happy memories inside those walls! We would always run away from the teachers during resess, coz we where not suppose to be inside. Why? It's like 20 below 0 celsious! What was we suppose to do?

All the crazy stories out math teachers usally tolles us... The sience teacher who loved raw meat. And out music teacher who always used the power cable from the head over as an microphone!

Crazy crazy crazy....

As for... Yuuri and me whent to Down Town Disney on sunday for a little shopping. Yuuri wanted to go to "Once upon a toy" to get some Disney cd's... And there it hit me again! The flash back!

When I was in pre-school I used to collect and play with "My little pony". They actually had My Little Ponys there! All kinds!

After that, while we where waiting for the bus home, we went to the lego store. And now it's official, I am taking Yuuri to legoland when she comes to Norway!

The Virtual Trip To Starbucks!

Today, after watching Scrubs on "Play All" (I just bought all four sesons on DVD), I desited to go to the mall for a cup of coffee... Well, that ended up as an Frapp!
I had been talking with The Sanx on MSN earlyer, and she desited to come along!
(As faar being she's in Norway...)

She was with me all the way from my apartment to the mall. We had an Vanilla Cafe Frapp, and Esspresso Brownie! Amazing!

Later, we oredered chineese food, and watched Scrubs, and had Reeses snack bars for dessert!

So how's that for a lovely day, Snax?

My sweetie is turning 23 tomorrow! I feel so bad, because I have only missed 7 of your birthdays! I know that right now you are at Pizzanini in Sarpsbog. And I hope you know that I am thinking about you! I azm comming home to you soon, sweetie! We'll talk face to face about everything that has happend this past year!

Around The (Disney) World, In One Week!

American Adventure! I miss you already, my love:( We look so great in our "I am proud to be an american" hats, right? Well, "Meet me in the middle, and we'll do it all again!"

Mission Space, what a crazy ride! "This is Huston! Go for launch!" Or Go To Lunch, as they ranslate in on Norwegian TV! We did the green team a couple of times. Not that I am not capable of doing the orange one. I did the original one 3 years ago, that's how I got my whiplash!
Some training now, and I'll be landing on Plut in no time!

You can not visit the Magic Kingdom park without saying hello to Winnie The Pooh! We meet Winnie outside his little shop of Fluff and Stuff. I love Winnie, and I am pretty sure he loves me too! Love you Winnie!

Ice Cube Game!

Thursdag Trude joined us for a stroll around the world! We had an magical time, let m tell you! At the World Gateway we met Chip 'n Dale. They where in a festive mood, and we took some grreat photos!

Then we desited to do lunch at The Rose and Crown in the UK.
Everybody knows that I am the chmpion at the ice cube game, mut now I have comepetion!! Nina is not quite bad herself!

I had the cottage pie, and iced tea, with lemon tree on the side, of course!!
