Christmas Eve!

As many people know, the big big day for celebrating christmas in Norway, is christmas eve. And we continue celebrating everyday until new years eve.

We had a lovely celebration in the apartment on christmas eve. We started the day out with rice poridge, and after that Elisabeth and me went to Sraatoga Springs to lye by the pool. The we called our familys from the pool side. They where all done with dinner, and had started opening pakages! My aunt picked up the phone, and she informed me that they have called my name for a presant, but I havent awsnered. The 3rd time I had to awser, or they will grab a new one! hahha.

Then we went home, and got all ready for dinner. Trude and Jannicke came over around 7, and we ate dinner. Then we had rice cream, and looked in our stockings!

At 11:15 Eliz, me and this italian girl walked over to church. It was so full when we arrived! We managed to get a seat. It was so beautifull, and they had a special chior for the occation!

I felt all christmassy, got homesick, but really amazing! I just really missed out closing hymn from back home "Deilig er Jorden". After mass we went home, and drank champaigne!

All in all an amazing christmas eve, and christmas has just started!

Today me and Elizabeth went sopping at WalMart, and sent off some last christmas letters and pakages. We spent soo much money!! We bought new wine glasses, and lots of food for tomorrow! Little christmas eve today, and it feels strange that mom decorated the tree yesterday, probably just with dad... And I do miss them so much. Now Elisabeth had put out all the candy, and tomorrow we will go and lye by the pool at Saratoga Springs.

When we came home from WalMart (we needed grocery assistants from security), the whole apartment smelled funny... Elisabeth fried fish earlyer. I look around and ask Elizabeth if she could feel it. "Yeah, I do, and the salmon!" Hahha...

Well, I wish all of you a merry merry Christmas! Or: GOD JUL! GOD JUL! I miss you all so much, but we'll be together soon!

Lost, and finally recovered

During june, Nina took alot of fun pictures. I was looking forward to coky, and print all of them, when her camara suddenly lost it's intergrated memory! All of my birthday pictures seemed lost! But after many months back in Norway, she has fixed the problem! So with no futher ado, I presnt to you! Michigans Birthday pictures!!

Yes finallt, today i got my pictures from Snapfish. I am so ready too start scrapping!

I will make one for my friend, and one for my self.


I have also worked dinner tonight, whitch felt really good, even though I was outside greeter, with my manager. Tomorrow we will be podium staff again! So much fu!

Downtown Disney!

Yesterday, we went to Downtown Disney for the christmas shopping.



I didn't shop for christmas, I shopped FOR ME! Hahha... Took alot of fun photos, and we had dinner at Planet Hollywood.



Everything was really good, and I needed a day out, without the heavy chase.. So, there you go!
